PERSONALIZED COMPANION
Personalized paddle board companion means = that + perfect engineering; add + adjust anything and everything you need. The Fins are removable, you can store everything in the Waimea branded carry bag, you can also adjust the paddles, which float by the way, strap it up or strap in storage to the bungee nets, and leash the board to you making it the perfect companion to take with you and ride the waters with you. Being able to pump up a paddle board to 20 psi is a high end exclusive feature, yet all of our boards are made that way for exceptional control and rigidity. We heat welded reinforced armor rails and added a second layer of armor rails on the sides of the board so that you and your board can launch into any adveture. TRANSFORM AND TRAVERSE
Transform into the Paddle Boarder within 300 seconds. With Waimea Bay boards, you'll have exceptional control and you and yours will be water like; recover as needed as we've included the repair kit. Before you get out there, take note of the actual shape and structure of the boards we offer. The nose of all of our boards are ""rocker or rockered"" meaning it's lifted and more so than the tail, and that means there's more gliding with every paddle stroke, and smoother transitions across the water ripples and waves. The more symmetrical the front and rear are, the more upright balance will be provided to you. As the front narrows, that will offer more forward momentum and more gliding will be offered to you. We can also help you choose the perfect fitting board and the right dimension of the board for you or you and yours. Generally speaking we recommend choosing the board that is relative to your body weight. For example, just consider the cubic liter space of the board, length x width x height; relative to your body weight. For example, for beginners, take your body in kilos and multiply that by 2 or 2.25. If you weigh 80 kilos, the board should be around 160 - 200 cubic liters. For intermediate boarders it's 1.5 or 1.6 multiplied by your body weight, and for advanced paddle boarders it's generally your body weight x 1.1; balancing, stability, standing up, will all be a breeze.
